Should we be worried that Dreams wasn’t shown at E3?

The short answer is no.

The long answer is no no no no no no no no no no.

Media Molecule have been consistently saying that there will be news later in the year and we still have plenty of big gaming expos coming up. There’s Gamescom in August, EGX in September and PSX in December. Lots to look forward to!

It is also worth noting that Jim Ryan, PlayStation’s Head of Marketing, said, “We will have news of Dreams later in the year. You saw there was a fairly consistent tonality in the games last night […] it probably wouldn’t have been the place for Dreams.”

PlayStation did have a very… ‘brown and grey’ vibe going on, so even if Mm did have something to share, the atmosphere may not have been ideal for them anyway. Here’s to a more vibrant Q3/Q4!

If I were a betting man I would put my money on EGX for our next preview of Dreams. If marketing budget is an issue then hopping on the train will be cheaper than flying abroad! Fingers crossed for Gamescom though so we don’t have to wait so long for our Dreams fix!
